Terms of Service

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sutra.

1. Who may use Sutra

You must be 18 or older. You may hold one account, created with your own Google or Apple identity, and everything on your profile must be about you — your photos, your age, your words.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post and send. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service: to store your content, show your profile to other users, and deliver your messages to their recipients. This licence ends for content you delete and for everything when you delete your account (see the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes).

3. Rules of conduct

Not allowed, and grounds for removal without warning:

• impersonation, fake profiles, or photos that are not you;
• harassment, threats, or hate directed at anyone;
• sexual content involving minors in any form — reported to authorities, always;
• commercial solicitation, spam, scams, or requests for money;
• attempting to break, probe, or overload the service, or to access other users' data.

"View-once" media is view-once by design; attempting to capture it is a violation. The app notifies the sender when a screenshot of a conversation is detected.

4. Safety, reporting and moderation

Every profile and conversation can be reported; reports are anonymous. You can block any user — blocking removes you from each other's view entirely. We may review reported content, restrict or terminate accounts that break these rules, and are not obliged to warn first.

5. Matches, likes and paid features

Likes, matches and messaging are free. Optional paid features (such as profile Boost or virtual gifts) may be offered; where they are, prices are shown in-app before purchase, purchases are processed by the app store you installed from, and virtual items have no cash value and are not refundable except as the store's own policy requires.

6. What we are not responsible for

Sutra connects people; we do not vet users beyond the age check and moderation described above. Meet people carefully — public places first, tell someone where you are. The service is provided "as is": we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, matches, or outcomes. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to [LIABILITY CAP].

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature survive (content licences already exercised, liability limits, disputes) survive termination.

8. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes are resolved in [VENUE].

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Sutra after that means you accept the updated terms.
